Drive BeeHive is easy to use – simply download the app, enter a few key pieces of information and launch the app when you get in your car, BeeHive does the rest.
- BeeHive doesn’t seem to be working. What can I do to fix it?
Please make sure you location access is enabled. Go to Settings on your phone, find the BeeHive app, click on the app and make sure Location is set to “While Using”.
- Can I have multiple sponsors / drivers?
At this time Beehive only allows 1 sponsor per user, but you can sponsor multiple drivers. There is currently no limit to number of drivers you can sponsor.
- What is the affiliation and how is it used?
When you are affiliated with a registered Beehive group ( school, business, org, etc. ) you not only accumulate points for your sponsor reward, but also accumulate for your affiliation. We are looking for ways to reward your group via prizes, scholarships and bragging rights from banking the most safe miles.
- I lost my miles. Why did that happen?
When Drive Beehive is running and you use your phone in anyway while driving you will lose your miles. So don’t use your phone and bank more miles to achieve rewards and make the roads safer.
- Does Beehive share my personal information?
Beehive will not sell or share any of your personal information.
- How do I request a sponsor?
Simply go to the Settings menu and input the sponsor’s email address. If that email is part of the Beehive network already the sponsor will get a notification, if not they will get an invite to join Beehive.
- Who determines the reward?
Your sponsor will determine what reward they would like to put up as well as the number of miles needed to achieve the reward. We find it useful to have a dialogue with your sponsor and ask for something meaningful, something that will really motivate you to drive safer.
Yes, you can change your sponsor at any time by going to the Settings menu, however you will lose the current and pending rewards and with the current sponsor.
- Does Beehive get me my reward/ How do I get my reward?
Once your goal is reached, Beehive will notify your sponsor who will responsible to deliver on the agreed reward. Beehive is not responsible at this current time in getting the user their reward. We are currently looking for opportunities to offer rewards directly in the near future.
- What platforms is Beehive available for?
Currently Drive Beehive is available on Google Play and on the App Store and optimized for the iPhone 5/5s/6/6+ .
